The purpose of the Area 66 Website Committee is to identify and address the changing technology needs of the area.
The duties of the Technology Committee Chairperson have customarily been to:
(a) Post event flyers for those trusted servants and Districts and Groups.
(b) Edit the meeting schedule for Districts and Groups.
(c) Post the anonymous Area Newsletter, each month when received. The confidential “Contact List of Area 66 Trusted Servants and District DCMs” is NOT to be posted.
(d) Ensure website is secure, regularly backed up up, all tools are updated, and all licenses remain current.
(e) Troubleshoot website issues as they arise.
This is done through examination of Google Analytics.
(a) Obtain & update email information to all Area 66 Trusted Servants for contact link requests.
(b) Troubleshoot technical email issues as they arise.

Any member of Alcoholics Anonymous within Area 66 can get involved in our committee. If you would like more information about getting involved start here.
Our website committee is dedicated to serve all other Area 66 committees. Technology is a tool that we can use to support A.A.'s primary purpose: to carry the message to other alcoholics. It should fade into the background so that other trusted servants can effectively carry out the work of Alcoholics Anonymous.
